Joy Hodgson

With 25 years of experience working in retirement plan services, Joy serves as a consultant to clients, accountants, and financial advisors on all types of qualified retirement plan issues. She is responsible for advanced plan design strategies for new clients as well as advising existing clients during mergers and acquisitions, and IRS or DOL audit* examinations. Her client base includes sole-proprietors, partnerships, corporations, non-profits, churches, and governmental agencies.

Joy’s comprehensive background in plan administration and operational compliance means she is an invaluable resource to clients and partner affiliates. She focuses primarily on qualified plans including 401(k), Profit Sharing, 457 and 403(b) plans, solo-K, defined benefit, and cash balance plans and SIMPLE and SEP-IRAs.

Joy is a Certified Pension Consultant, and Qualified 401(k) Administrator and a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) for over 20 years.
